UMOD

This brand development project is a design experiment meant to exercise the full process of creating a business model, developing and establishing a visual identity, and designing marketing materials.

UMOD is a modular home company aimed to change this niche market with the type of houses available and how they are made into homes. The backbone of the business model is built upon creating an affordable, resourceful, and truly modular home. By utilizing old or discarded shipping containers as the skeleton of each modular section, it not only reduces waste, but also adds to a 'building block' system that in itself can be changed per model.

Half containers, remodeled (i.e. for specific purposes) sections, and other modifications are also available options for each client, hence the name 'UMOD'; You, the client, modifies the home to fit your needs.
